Things to Do:
“Jiffy Mix” Factory Tour in Chelsea – Tours are available M-F only … So if you want to tour the plant, plan on stopping on your way to the campground or after checking in on Friday. Tour is free and they give you some samples of their products.
Play Golf – There is a 9 hole, par 3 course on site which is part of your camping fee … No “T” times or Green Fees … Rental carts are available, but must be rented in advance. There is a scramble on Sunday morning, for those interested in showing off their skills.
Go Fishing – Goose Lake is a catch and keep lake inside the campground, with a lot of Crappie, waiting for a “Hot Oil” treatment. Be sure to bring your Michigan fishing license, french fries, coleslaw and hush puppies
Tri State Surplus – Their main focus is RV and camper parts and supplies but offer other items. Give them a call at 517-448-4433. Their showroom is in Hudson, MI near the Michigan-Ohio state line. They offer new and used products at a cost that is a fraction of retail. Be sure to call them before you drive down there.
